Computer On Module

Computers on Module (COM) are embedded modular computers featuring CPU, RAM, Chipset and one or more standard connectors interfacing with I/O and expansion channels. Normally supported by a user-designed carrier boards on which a variety of connectors, controllers and I/O slots are deployed in accordance to customers' needs and to the functions of their applications. The COMs are, therefore, a winning solution for the design of completely custom solutions where an extra number of different features are needed, and where the benefits of standard multivendor core modules make them highly scalable and price effective products.
