LEC-EL is a CPU module compliant with the SGET SMARC 2.1 specification (revision 2.1.1) built around the Intel Atom Elkhart Lake SoC. It carries CPU, memory and eMMC storage soldered on the module and leaves application I/O to the carrier board, including the HDA audio codec.
The Gen11 LP graphics drives three independent displays at 4Kp60 and the CAN bus works in 2.0B mode or mixed CAN FD with data bit rate up to 8 Mbps: these are the two axes that move the module towards HMI and machine control. The LPDDR4L-4266 is soldered, so no SO-DIMM and no contacts to qualify against vibration.
Available with Intel Atom X6211E, X6413, X6425E, X6200FE, X6414RE or X6425RE, 2/4/8 GB of LPDDR4 and 32 or 64 GB of eMMC: from part numbers LEC-EL-6211E-2G-32G-CT and LEC-EL-6413E-4G-32G-ER up to LEC-EL-6425RE-8G-64G-CT, with CT or ER suffix defining the thermal range.
