EXPRESS-BASE7Reference and development carrier board for COM Express Type 7 modules, ATX format
Express-BASE7 is the reference carrier board you use to bring a COM Express Type 7 module to the bench: it accepts modules in Basic or Compact form factor according to PICMG COM Express Revision 3.0, on an ATX board of 305 mm x 244 mm with two 220-pin board-to-board connectors.
Compared with a custom carrier, it exposes the module lines on three standard PCI Express slots, so you can validate CPU, storage and network on COTS hardware before designing your own board. The NC-SI interface connects the module to the onboard IPMI BMC in Lite version, supported at design level, while the Winbond W83627DHG Super I/O manages the serial ports.
