Express-DN7 is a CPU module in COM Express Basic form factor, 125 mm x 95 mm, compliant with PICMG COM.0 Rev 3.0 Type 7 and built around the Intel Atom C3000 "Denverton-NS" SoC. The Type 7 pinout takes it where the carrier has to move traffic rather than pixels: network appliances, gateways and storage nodes on custom carrier boards.
It stands out for Intel QuickAssist Technology acceleration for crypto and compression and for the onboard SEMA Board Controller, which exposes watchdog, failsafe BIOS (dual BIOS), power-up sequence control and voltage and current monitoring. Software support covers Linux and Windows.
Available configurations: Express-DN7-C3808, -C3708, -C3508 and -C3308 in eTEMP version, plus -C3958, -C3858, -C3758, -C3558, -C3538 and -C3338; Express-DN7-C3708 w/TPM is also available.
