WAFER-IMX8MP-A is a single board computer in 3.5" format built around the NXP i.MX 8M Plus Quad SoC, for HMI, kiosks and data acquisition nodes where power consumption and footprint matter. The 4-lane MIPI CSI camera input and the 4-lane MIPI DSI output work directly with the panel and the camera, without conversion boards.
Inference relies on the eIQ framework, which addresses NPU, CPU and GPU. The software stack comes with SELinux fully enabled, A/B partitions and OTA update engine: BSP work that does not fall on the integrator.
Available configurations: WAFER-IMX8MP-A/BD and WAFER-IMX8MP-A/BD-R10 on Android platform, WAFER-IMX8MP-Y/BD on Yocto platform.
