MBD-X12DPi-NT6 is a server motherboard in E-ATX form factor with two sockets for 3rd generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, up to 40 cores and with TDP up to 270 W. Compared with the Gigabit networking variant, here the two Ethernet ports work at 10G: the difference weighs when nodes exchange entire datasets and not just commands.
The C621A chipset handles DDR4 ECC memory over 16 DIMM slots, alongside Intel Optane PMem. Remote management goes through the ASPEED AST2600 BMC with a dedicated network port, while storage is allowed from -40 to 70 °C.
