PCIe-7256 is a relay output and isolated digital input board for the PCI Express bus, meant for test benches and switching applications where the state of the contacts has to stay stable.
The relays are of the latching type: the state of the outputs stays unchanged when power drops, a condition that avoids unwanted switching when the PC restarts. The state of each relay stays readable from software, so the supervisor always knows the real position of the contacts.
