PCIe-7248 is a digital input and output board for the PCI Express bus, used in automation cabinets where the field signals pass through Opto-22 conditioning modules.
The Opto-22 standard connectors allow the module racks already in the plant to be landed directly, without intermediate adapters. Stated power draw is 5.12 W, a figure to weigh when the PCI Express slot is shared with other boards in a compact industrial PC.
