MBD-X13DEI-T is a server motherboard in ATX form factor with two LGA4677 sockets: the Intel Xeon processors work in parallel on the same board, with memory and I/O lanes split between the two sockets.
The Intel C741 chipset handles DDR5 memory with error correction and the platform accepts processors with TDP up to 350 W, a value that conditions the choice of heatsink and of air flow in the enclosure. Graphics and the VGA port go through the ASPEED AST2600 BMC, the same controller that exposes remote management; a serial port remains available for the service console.
