MBD-X13DEI-T è una scheda madre server in formato ATX con due socket LGA4677: i processori Intel Xeon lavorano in parallelo sulla stessa scheda, con le linee di memoria e di I/O ripartite fra i due zoccoli.
Il chipset Intel C741 gestisce memoria DDR5 con correzione d'errore e la piattaforma accetta processori con TDP fino a 350 W, valore che condiziona la scelta del dissipatore e del flusso d'aria nel telaio. La grafica e la porta VGA passano dal BMC ASPEED AST2600, lo stesso controller che espone la gestione remota; una porta seriale resta disponibile per la console di servizio.
