GOI-101A3 is a one rack unit chassis in black pre-galvanized steel, built around a passive backplane compliant with PICMG 1.3 and therefore around the single board computer architecture with expansion on the bus.
The rear houses the single board computer with provision for USB and a serial port, besides two slots available for full length PCIe boards. The front is closed by a door with captive screws and carries two USB 3.0 connectors, the power and drive activity LEDs and the power and reset buttons.
