LEC-IMX8MP is a CPU module in SMARC short size 82 x 50 mm format, compliant with the SGET SMARC 2.1 specifications, to be mounted on a custom carrier board in low-power ARM embedded systems, from robotics to industrial control.
The distinctive axis is the in-SoC work on security: TrustZone with ARMv8 Cryptography Extensions, supported by the SEMA Board Controller for voltage and current monitoring, watchdog timer and logistics information. Software support covers Yocto Linux, Android, Windows 10 IoT and VxWorks as extended support.
Available in the Quad version (-Q-) with 2 or 4 GB LPDDR4 and 32 GB eMMC, with or without NPU (-N-), and in the Quadlite version (-QL-) with 2 GB LPDDR4 and 16 GB eMMC; the CT suffix indicates 0~60 °C, the ER suffix −40~85 °C, as in LEC-IMX8MP-Q-N-4G-32G-ER.
