CompactPCI Boards and Modules

The CompactPCI architecture offers a full range of 3U and 6U single board computers with different performance levels based on Intel® and PowerPC®. It can satisfy the requests of any market segment thanks to its large selection of I/O cards and modules available. The PICMG 2.16 extension introduces the concept of a “packet switching architecture” to increase the performance of the embedded system by moving data traffic off the shared buses onto an embedded switched Ethernet network fabric.
