XMC-VLX85XMC module with configurable Virtex-5 FPGA and 85k logic cells
XMC-VLX85 is an XMC mezzanine module with a reprogrammable Xilinx Virtex-5 FPGA, used for signal processing and I/O interfacing on host boards in embedded and test systems.
Towards the host the interface is 4 lane PCIe Gen 1, with dual DMA channel for transfer towards the CPU. Memory includes DDR2 SDRAM accessible from the FPGA and on-board flash, while the rear I/O reaches the application from the J4 connector.
At a glance
- Memory: 32M x 32-bit DDR2 SDRAM is directly accessed through the FPGA
- RAM type: DDR2
- Architecture standard: XMC VITA 42/61
- Board function: FPGA
- Cooling: Conduction-cooled
