AP226 belongs to the AcroPack line, the COTS tech-refresh of Industry Pack modules with a PCIe interface: same functionality and same memory map in a rugged 70 x 30 mm form factor that mounts on PCIe, VPX and XMC carriers. Typical use is in military and defense, automation, aerospace, and scientific and development laboratories.
Each channel has its own 12-bit D/A converter: no multiplexer with sample and hold, so no glitches caused by re-acquisition. The double-buffered data latches let you write new values channel by channel and update all outputs on a simultaneous trigger, convenient for simulating linear movements in motion processes. Software support covers Linux, Windows and VxWorks.
The family comes in the AP226-8E-LF configuration, with 8 isolated voltage outputs and 12-bit DAC.
