AP220 belongs to the AcroPack line, the COTS tech-refresh of Acromag's Industry Pack modules: same functionality and same memory map in a rugged form factor with PCIe interface. It mounts on PCIe, VPX and XMC carriers and works in military, defense, automation, aerospace, scientific and development laboratory applications.
Each channel has its own D/A converter, not a multiplexed sample-and-hold: independent DACs are faster and avoid the glitches caused by re-acquisition. Double-buffered data latches let you write the new values before the trigger, so you can update each output on write or all outputs simultaneously, as required to simulate linear movements.
Available configuration: AP220-16E-LF, 16 voltage outputs with 12-bit DAC.
