PCI-82544-axis motion controller with DSP and analog I/O
PCI-8254 is an advanced DSP-based motion controller for computers with a PCI bus, used in positioning machines and inspection stations where motion has to be coordinated with measurement.
Beside axis command the board carries analog inputs and outputs, with output over ±10 volts and a 16-bit DAC and input over ±10 volts with a 12-bit ADC. Field signals travel over a 100-pin SCSI-VHDCI connector.
At a glance
- Channels: 4 channel
- ADC resolution: 12-bit bit
- Analog input range: ±10 V
- DAC resolution: 16-bit bit
- Analog output range: ±10 V
