PCI-8164 is an advanced motion controller for computers with a PCI bus, used in positioning machines and machining systems where the trajectory calls for coordination between several axes.
The pulse-train output reaches 6.55 MHz and the encoder counter works at 28 bits. All digital inputs and outputs are optically isolated at 2500 VRMS, keeping the control logic apart from the drive power signals.
