EBP-13E4 is a PICMG 1.3 backplane intended for 4U industrial chassis, where the space allows many expansion boards to be lined up behind a single CPU board.
Besides the PICMG slot for the single board computer, the board provides one PCI Express x16 slot, three x4 slots and seven PCI slots: the usual split for those who have to serve recent acquisition boards and older control boards together. The printed circuit board has the full format of rack cabinet backplanes.
