LEC-EL: SMARC Module with Intel 6th Gen. Atom x6000 Processors (Elkhart Lake)

ADLINK Technology introduces LEC-EL, the new Computer-On-Module on short size SMARC 2.1 standard equipped with x6000 quad core Intel Atom SoC-type processors based on Elkhart Lake architecture, providing the ideal solution for low-power, high-performance applications with an average lifecycle of more than 5 years. The SMARC LEC-EL module is available with eMMC-type flash storage up to 64GB and LPDDR4 RAM up to 32GB. A number of high-bandwidth interfaces are offered such as HDMI 2.0b 4K@60 Hz, dual-channel LVDS, PCI Express Gen3, dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0/3.0, SATA Gen3, dual CAN bus, and next-generation HD audio. Through the management of the BMC (Board Management Controller) chip and the SEMA (Smart Embedded Management Agent) utility, it is possible to supervise the operation of the system, control its security operations and management against faults with counting, logging and measurement of hardware and software events, as well as the use of SMBus to send corrective commands to the SoC. The LEC-EL is available in a standard version from 0 to +60°C operation and an extreme rugged version from -40°C to +85°C operation, qualifying it as the ideal choice for implementing intelligent embedded systems in various market segments, such as industrial control systems, retail systems, IOT edge gateways, in-vehicle infotainment systems, printers, thin clients, industrial and rugged tablets, and many others.
