USB-3488AGPIB controller on a USB port for instrumentation

USB-3488A is a GPIB controller with a USB link, used on measurement benches to drive oscilloscopes, multimeters and generators that expose the classic 24-pin parallel interface.
The USB link avoids taking a slot in the PC and makes the controller easy to move between workstations. Onboard, a 32 KB FIFO decouples traffic between the USB bus and the GPIB bus, while an indicator lamp reports data transfer under way.
