IPCIE-UART-2D2P-R10 is a serial expansion board in PCI Express x1 format, meant to add RS-232/422/485 ports on industrial systems. The I/O interface covers 2 external ports on a DB-9 connector and 2 internal ports on a pin header (2x5, P=2.0). The chipset uses a Fintek F81504 (PCI Express to quad serial port bridge) and a Fintek F81439 (buffer/transceiver).
Communication rests on high-speed UARTs compatible with 16C550/16C650/16C750/16C850, with a 128-byte FIFO on transmit and receive and baud rate up to 1.5M. Dimensions are 70 x 90 mm and the operating temperature range runs from 0 °C to 60 °C.
