The outputs are high-side to IEC 1131-2 and accept an external supply between 11 and 36 V, with 500 mA available per channel and overall current limiting through PTC.
Thermal protection acts at 135 °C on the output driver and a common diagnostic reports the condition to the computer, while the watchdog returns the outputs to rest when the application program stops.
