AP520AcroPack 8-port RS232E serial module with PCI Express Generation 1 interface
- Configurations
- 1 available configurations
AP520 is a mezzanine module from the AcroPack line, which brings the functions of Industry Pack modules to the PCIe format: it concentrates asynchronous serial communication on a single AcroPack carrier slot, where several boards were previously needed, in embedded and industrial test systems.
The module retains the functionality and memory map of existing Industry Pack modules, so migration is a transition, not a porting from scratch. The board is 70 mm long and communicates with the carrier through a 100-pin Samtec connector, fifty of which are available as field I/O signals. The extended operating range up to 85 °C requires the AP-CC-01 conduction-cool kit; the APSW-API software support covers VxWorks, Windows and Linux.
Available configuration: AP520-64E-LF.
