AP341 updates Industry Pack modules with a PCI Express interface in the AcroPack format: a 70 x 30 mm COTS module that plugs into the carrier through a 100-pin Samtec connector and coexists with other AcroPack modules on the same PCIe, VPX or XMC carrier. It is used in military, defense, automation and aerospace applications, as well as in scientific and development laboratories.
The sixteen differential inputs are sampled as two banks of eight: eight converters perform the simultaneous conversion of an entire bank, while the buffer holds the data of the first bank during the conversion of the second. Gain and offset calibration constants reside on board; per-channel conversion control, timer and continuous or single-cycle modes are programmable.
Available in the AP341E-LF configuration, 14-bit ADC simultaneous sample and hold.
