The AP235 is a mezzanine module from the AcroPack line, the COTS tech-refresh of Industry Pack modules with PCIe interface: it mounts on an AcroPack carrier and, with a carrier hosting two AP modules, provides up to 32 voltage outputs from a single card cage slot. It is RoHS compliant and is used in military, defense, automation, aerospace, scientific and development laboratory applications.
Each channel has its own D/A converter rather than a shared multiplexer: the glitches typical of sample-and-hold re-acquisition are eliminated. Waveforms reside in 64K samples of on-board memory shared among the 16 channels and are output continuously without host intervention; a DMA controller handles streaming of waveform data from host memory.
Available configuration: AP235-16E-LF, 16 voltage outputs with 16-bit DAC and waveform generation. Conduction-cooled operation is available with the AP-CC-01 kit.
