AMC531Full-size AMC FPGA carrier with quad core QorIQ processor

Manufacturer

AMC531 is a single-width, full-height FPGA carrier that places beside the programmable logic a four-core Freescale QorIQ PPC2040 processor, dedicated to board handling and to firmware loading.

Working memory is arranged in three 18-bit QDR-II+ banks: the usual choice when low-latency random access matters more than large capacity, as in continuous stream processing. The module is programmable as AMC.1, AMC.2 or AMC.4, draws 35 W and has a storage temperature from -40 to 85 °C.

At a glance

  • Processor: Freescale QorIQ PPC2040 (Quad Core Processor)
  • Memory: 3× banks of QDR-II+ (18-bit wide)
  • Board function: FPGA
  • Architecture standard: AMC.1
  • Form factor: Single full-size
