AMC527 is a carrier for one FMC board to VITA-57, in single-module mid-size format conforming to AMC.0, with the AMC ports routed towards the programmable logic and the backplane protocol decided by the firmware.
Memory covers a quad QDR-II+ bank of 576 Mb and 1 GB of DDR3, while the clock can be internal, external or taken from the backplane through a wideband PLL. The carrier draws about 30 W without a mezzanine, also exists in a conduction-cooled version and has a storage temperature from -40 to 85 °C.
