MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)

AMC526AMC module with dual 12-bit ADC at 2.6 GSPS

Manufacturer

AMC526 places two AD9625 converters at 12 bits and 2.6 GSPS in front of a Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA, in a single mid-size module suited to direct radio-frequency acquisition.

Working memory is a quad QDR-II+ bank of 576 Mb flanked by 1 Gb of DDR3, while the clock can come from inside, from outside or from the backplane thanks to an onboard wideband PLL. Typical draw is 40 W and depends on the firmware loaded; storage temperature runs from -40 to 85 °C.

  • Memory: Quad bank QDR-II+ memory (576 Mb total) and 1Gb DDR3 GB
  • RAM type: DDR3
  • Board function: FPGA
  • Architecture standard: AMC.1
