AMC519

MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)

AMC519Mid-size AMC FPGA carrier with Xilinx Artix-7 and FMC

Manufacturer

AMC519 is the smallest of the FMC board carriers of the series: a Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA, two banks of 16-bit DDR3 and a single PCIe or SRIO lane towards the backplane, routed by the programmable logic.

AMC ports 0 and 1 carry the Gigabit Ethernet to the FPGA, while ports 4 and 8 follow AMC.1, AMC.2 and AMC.4 with the protocol decided by the firmware. The carrier draws about 8 W without a mezzanine and storage temperature runs from -40 to 85 °C.

At a glance

  • Memory: Dual banks of DDR3 (16-bit each)
  • RAM type: DDR3
  • Board function: FPGA
  • Architecture standard: AMC.1
  • Form factor: Single mid-size
