AMC517 is a carrier for FMC boards in single-module mid-size format, with a full-size option, built around a Xilinx Kintex-7 410T FPGA and two DDR3 channels at 64 and at 16 bits.
The clock passes through an onboard jitter cleaner, while towards the backplane the module exposes dual 10 GbE from the FPGA and dual Gigabit from the processor. The carrier draws about 16 W without a mezzanine and storage temperature runs from -40 to 85 °C; software support covers Linux, VxWorks and Windows.
