AMC514 is a carrier for FMC boards built on a Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA, with four banks of 32-bit DDR3 and a multiplier and divider PLL with jitter cleaner for clock distribution.
An optional PowerPC QorIQ processor at 800 MHz can take care of firmware loading and local handling, with dual 1000-BaseBX Gigabit Ethernet towards the backplane. The carrier draws about 40 W without a mezzanine, is stated RoHS conformant and has a storage temperature from -40 to 85 °C.
