AMC510Double-width AMC FPGA carrier with Xilinx Virtex-5

Manufacturer

AMC510 is a double-width, full-height FPGA carrier built around Xilinx Virtex-5 devices and programmable as AMC.1, AMC.2 or AMC.4: it is the firmware, not the hardware, that decides the protocol towards the backplane.

Onboard there are QDR-II memory, a multiplier and divider PLL with jitter cleaner and an external clock with input and output trigger, brought to three front SMB connectors. The carrier draws 10 W without the mezzanine and storage temperature runs from -40 to 90 °C.

At a glance

  • FPGA / processing: Xilinx FGPA Virtex-5 Devices
  • Board function: FPGA
  • Architecture standard: AMC.4
  • Power consumption: 10 W
