AMC502AMC FPGA carrier with FMC and quad core ARM i.MX6 CPU

Manufacturer

AMC502 is an FPGA carrier in AMC format that hosts an FMC board and places beside the programmable logic a quad core ARM i.MX6 CPU at 1 GHz, useful for local board handling and for firmware loading.

The module is programmable as AMC.1, AMC.2 or AMC.4: the protocol towards the backplane is decided by the firmware, not by the hardware, and this makes the same board reusable on shelves with different fabrics. The front panel exposes the FMC connectivity and three separate RS-232 serials for management, FPGA and CPU. Stated draw is 20 W and storage temperature runs from -40 to 85 °C.
