MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)
AMC228AMC.2 Wi-Fi module for IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g
AMC228 is an AdvancedMC module conforming to AMC.2 that adds Wi-Fi radio access to an AdvancedTCA or MicroTCA shelf; the antenna links to the front panel through an SMA connector.
The module carries a 32-bit MIPS processor and places beside the radio two SFP cages and two RS-232 ports on a USB connector. Security covers WPA2 and WEP with AES-CCMP and TKIP ciphering, while management stays on IPMI and the front panel comes in mid or full height.
