MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)
AMC227AMC.0 and AMC.2 module with Wi-Fi access point and GbE switch
AMC227 brings wireless connectivity inside a MicroTCA shelf: the module works as an access point to IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n, with antennas linked over SMA on the front panel and a Gigabit uplink on dual SFP.
Onboard there are a managed layer two Gigabit switch and a 32-bit Freescale i.MX28 processor at 454 MHz, which also handles enterprise-class wireless security. The mid-size module draws 5 W and has a storage temperature from -40 to 85 °C.
