AMC113AMC.1 PCIe bus expansion module on dual QSFP+

Manufacturer

AMC113 extends the I/O bus of a MicroTCA shelf outwards: the PCIe traffic is carried to two QSFP+ ports on the front panel, over copper or fiber cable, so as to link expansion chassis or remote subsystems without changing the internal topology.

The module conforms to AMC.1, draws 5 W at most with a QSFP cable and states an MTBF of 491,000 hours in the copper version. Storage temperature runs from -40 to 90 °C and software support covers Linux, Windows, Solaris and VxWorks.

At a glance

  • Board function: I/O
  • Architecture standard: AMC.1
  • Power consumption: 5 W
