MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)
UTC040CMCH with PCIe fabric and Gigabit Ethernet switch
UTC040C covers both communication channels of a MicroTCA shelf: the PCI Express fabric between the AMC modules and the Gigabit Ethernet network brought to the front RJ-45 connectors.
The two functions weigh differently on the power budget: stated draw is 45 W with the PCIe fabric active and falls to 20 W in the Gigabit Ethernet only arrangement, so the choice of arrangement has to be made together with the sizing of the supply. The module states conformance to the AMC.0 profile, CE, FCC and UL certifications and storage from -45 to 95 °C.
