UTC003 is the MicroTCA Carrier Hub (MCH) of a MicroTCA shelf in full-height format: the greater room available serves the routing section and its heat dissipation.
At power-up the board runs a self-test and reports its outcome on a dedicated indicator, together with the state of the links: diagnosing a fault therefore calls for no terminal to be connected. It conforms to the AMC.0 profile, with CE, FCC and UL certifications and a storage range from -45 to 90 °C.
