MAGIC1A3U VPX conduction-cooled mission computer with Intel Xeon

Manufacturer

MAGIC1A is a mission computer built on the open VPX standard (VITA 46) in 3U Eurocard format, intended for airborne and vehicle platforms where the electronics must work without forced ventilation: heat is dissipated by conduction through the baseplate and the boards receive conformal coating.

Interfacing with the onboard systems includes ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet and video outputs, while the declared environmental qualifications are MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-704. Software support covers Linux, Windows and VxWorks.
