AP512AcroPack PCI Express serial module with four isolated RS422/485 ports

AP512 is the serial module of the AcroPack line, which brings the functions of Industry Pack modules to a PCI Express interface (Gen1, x1, revision 2.0). In the AP512E-LF version it measures 70 x 30 mm and plugs into the AcroPack carrier via a downward-facing 100-pin connector, 50 pins of which are dedicated to field signals.
What sets it apart is its isolated density: four full duplex ports from a single carrier slot, not four, with 250 V isolation to the logic and 100 V isolation port to port. Transmit, receive, line status and flow control interrupts are controlled per individual port and are read from a single register.
Available configuration: AP512E-LF. Options include the AP-CC-01 conduction-cool kit for operation up to 85 °C and the APSW-API software packages for VxWorks, Linux and Windows.
