AP500 brings the functionality of Acromag Industry Pack modules to the AcroPack form factor with PCI Express interface: the same memory map, so you can migrate an existing project without starting over from the driver. The module is 70 mm long and 30 mm wide like an mPCIe card, and plugs into the carrier through a 100-pin down-facing Samtec connector, of which 50 signals are available as field I/O.
The ports are non-isolated, with a single common return, and configured as a DTE device; character size, parity and stop bits are set in software, while all interrupts are read from a single register. Typical cable length is 15 metres.
The order code is AP500E-LF; the AP-CC-01 conduction-cool kit, available as an accessory, extends the operating temperature to −40~85 °C.
