AP418 brings the Industry Pack format to PCIe and retains the same functionality and the same memory map as existing Industry Pack modules, so moving to AcroPack does not change the register map. It measures 70 x 30 mm and plugs into the carrier through a downward-facing 100-pin Samtec connector, with 50 signals routed to the field. It is a COTS module for military, defense, automation, aerospace, scientific research and development laboratories.
Each channel works as an input or as an output, with the two circuits connected in tandem: loopback gives you self-test and diagnostics of open switches or short circuits, not just control. Change-of-state or level interrupts are software-programmable on each channel.
Available in the AP418E-LF configuration, with optional APSW-API software packages for Windows, Linux and VxWorks.
