The AP342 is an AcroPack module: it brings the functions of Acromag Industry Pack modules to the PCIe format and keeps the same memory map as existing IP modules. It is a 70 x 30 mm COTS tech-refresh design that mounts on PCIe, VPX and XMC carriers, alongside other AcroPack modules on the same board, for military, aerospace, automation and laboratory applications.
Inputs are sampled in two banks of six channels: each bank is converted simultaneously in 8 µs, while the FIFO holds the data from the first bank during conversion of the second. Channels or bank to convert, timing and scan mode are user-selectable, in continuous or single-cycle mode: the conversion process is programmable, not fixed.
