AP323 brings the Industry Pack format to a PCIe interface. It is a COTS, rugged AcroPack module that mounts on PCIe, VPX and XMC carriers and can be combined with other AcroPack modules on the same carrier. It is used for analog acquisition in military, defense, aerospace, automation and laboratory systems, with software support for VxWorks, Linux and Windows.
Two aspects set it apart. The first is the buffer: a 16K-sample FIFO with full, empty and threshold flags, plus an interrupt when the threshold is reached, so the CPU offloads data in blocks rather than sample by sample. The second is input flexibility: bipolar ±5 V or ±10 V and unipolar 0–5 V or 0–10 V ranges selectable via DIP switch, with programmable scan modes and conversion control.
With the AP-CC-01 conduction-cool kit, the operating range extends to −40~85 °C.
