AP236 belongs to the AcroPack line, the COTS tech-refresh of Acromag's Industry Pack modules with PCIe interface: it mounts on PCIe, VPX and XMC carriers and works in military, defence, automation and aerospace applications, as well as in scientific and development laboratories.
The board measures 70 x 30 mm and reuses the mounting areas defined by the mPCIe standard. Each channel has its own D/A converter, not a multiplexed sample and hold: glitches caused by re-acquisition are eliminated. Software selects the transparent or simultaneous output mode and makes the alarm function readable for brownout, short circuit and temperature above 150 °C.
