AMC738 is a double-module full-size AdvancedMC conforming to AMC.1, AMC.2 and AMC.4, built around the multi-core Cavium Octeon II CN6880 processor with DDR3 memory guarded by ECC.
The main network interface is at one hundred gigabit on CFP2, flanked by two GbE ports on the front panel and by an SDHC bay for mass storage. The backplane ports can be arranged as PCIe or as XAUI; the standard operating system is Linux.
