AMC718 is an AdvancedMC processor module conforming to AMC.1 and AMC.2, built on the multi-core Freescale QorIQ P4040 and P4080 CPUs for AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA shelves.
The DDR-III memory with ECC reaches 16 GB, flanked by NOR, NAND and SPI flash. The front panel carries two SFP+ cages, a GbE port on RJ-45 and two RS-232 serials, one for the CPU and one for management. The PCIe lanes towards the carrier can be arranged as a single x8 or as a dual x4.
