AMC626 does not host the medium onboard: it is the adapter that brings external storage inside the MicroTCA system, leaving the capacity outside the chassis and freeing slots for the application modules.
The interface towards the host is PCIe Gen3, provided for in x8 or x4 arrangements, while the disks connected can be SATA III or SAS-3. Supervision passes from the shelf controller through IPMI 2.0, the certifications stated are CE, FCC and UL and the storage range runs from -40 to 85 °C.
