MicroTCA Blades & Modules (MTCA.0)
AMC620AMC storage module with Mini-SAS connector
AMC620 extends the storage of the MicroTCA shelf outwards: the SATA link does not stay inside the module but is brought to the front panel, where a Mini-SAS connector gathers the cables towards the disk drawers.
This is the difference against the AMCs that host the medium onboard, and it changes the way system capacity is sized. The module states conformance to the AMC.1 profile, supervision through IPMI 2.0 and a front status LED. The certifications provided for are CE, FCC and UL, with a storage range from -40 to 70 °C.
